Lesson 7:
                       BE + -ING

Look at this picture:



- What Are They do ing? (What are they doing?) 
- They are play ing football. (They play soccer).

Main use: current action when it comes.
Syntax: Auxiliary BE (in the present tense) + Verb in-ing 

Example: 

am play ing football. 
You are play ing football. 
He / She / It is play ing football. 
We are play ing football. 
You are play ing football. 
Ltr; play ing football.

Negation:

 I am not play ing football, you are not play ing football ...

Question:

Am I play ing football? Are you play ing football? Is he play ing football? ...

Replies: 

Are They playing football?

Long answers:Yes, they're playing football.No, They arent playing football.
Short answer:Yes, They Are.No, They arent.
